Okay! Here we go with a 24-hour mini-challenge!

Write a haiku. Illustrate with photo.

We don’t care which comes first - the photo or the haiku, but they must be taken and written today, Tuesday!

What the heck is a haiku?
A haiku is a form of Japanese poetry. 17 syllables total split into three lines.
Line 1: 5 syllables
Line 2: 7 syllables
Line 3: 5 syllables

5-7-5!

I found this example of a photo haiku online:

In the gauzy heat
a butterfly guides its tongue
between the petals

You don’t hafta have the words on the photo…but you can! It’s up to you!

Rules:
- All photos and haikus must be new - taken in the next 24 hours (end of day Tuesday in the US!)
- Post any/all photos to the group and tag with "photogamer" and "haiku"

Post your photos to the Photogamer group and add both the photo and haiku to the Winner’s Circle!
